Over the last few weeks I’ve watched with great interest the progress that’s being made on the Raspberry Pi project.
For those who don’t know about the Pi, it’s basically a super small computer (the size of a credit card) that is designed to get kids into programming. It’s going to be on general sale for around £20, which is what has got me interested.
There’s a number of projects I’ve been wanting to do, that I haven’t been able to, because I haven’t wanted to fork out loads of money. £20 isn’t really a lot, and I’m really tempted to get a couple.
The boards run a low-cut version of Linux, which I’m familiar with, and I’ll be able to control things using Bash.
Keep an eye out for some of my projects. Most of them I will post about on here, once the boards are on sale.
